MEDITERRANEAN FOOD GUIDE

The Mediterranean has been found to have the healthiest people on the earth.  Lower Cancer Rates and Heart Disease.  This is the Mediterranean Food Pyramid from Oldways.   You can see that they eat very little red meat (once a month).  They have a sweet weekly, as well as eggs, poultry, and fish.  Their daily diet consists of cheese, yogurt, olive oil, fruits, vegetable, and beans, legumes, and nuts, then whole grain breads and pastas.
